Lest anyone forget, today is the start of early voting for the run-off elections and there are a few judicial positions still up for grabs.

• State-wide on the Republican side, there’s the race for Texas Supreme Court, Place 4, which features incumbent David Medina and his challenger, John Devine.
• In the Dallas area, also on the Republican side, there’s a run-off between former District Judge David Evans and Bill Whitehill, for the Dallas Court of Appeals, Place 2.
• And in Dallas County, on the Democratic side, there’s a run-off between Municipal Judge Phyllis Lister Brown and Maricela Moore, for the 162nd Civil District Court.

Early voting runs between Monday, July 23rd through Friday, July 27th.  The election day for the run-off is Tuesday, July 31st.
