• The Dallas Bar Appellate Law Section will host Leane Capps Medford at its monthly lunch seminar on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at noon.  The subject of Ms. Medford’s talk will be "Recent Changes to the Texas Pattern Jury Charges: What Every Trial and Appellate Lawyer Needs to Know."   The presentation is scheduled for the Haynes & Boone room at the Belo Mansion.
• The University of Texas School of Law will be holding the 21st Annual Conference on State and Federal Appeals in Austin at the Four Season’s Hotel on June 2nd and 3rd.   The topics and presenters at this seminar are always top-notch.  A copy of the brochure and registration information may be found here.
